Understand Emerit Services Design

In Emerit Services, there are four main entities: Distributor, Integrator, End-Customer, and Site by order of hierarchy.

Each Distributor can have multiple Integrators, each Integrator can have multiple End-Customers, and each End-Customer can have multiple Sites.

Distributor > Integrator > End-Customer > Site

The devices can only be affected to a Site. The Site is the entity that will be used to manage the devices.

By default, when you create an entity from an upper level, it will automatically generate default entities for the lower levels.

For example, when you create a Distributor, it will automatically create an Integrator, an End-Customer, and a Site.

When you create an Integrator, it will automatically create an End-Customer and a Site.

When you create an End-Customer, it will automatically create a Site.

When you create a Site, it will not create any entity.

Manage the devices as an Integrator

As an integrator, if you want to manage your own devices, you need to affect the devices to this default Site. If you want to know your default site, you can make the request to get your integrator infos

You will find easily the siteId of your default site as it should be the only site you have and it should share the same uniqueIdNumber as your integrator.
